The Concept · contemporaneous record

Southwestern fusion haute cuisine, built for the street.

An archived September 24, 2012 company site introduced “Southwestern Fusion Haute Cuisine on Wheels.” The September 25 Business Wire announcement described Chef Scott Persson’s culinary concept and a planned October Los Angeles County rollout.

The company’s launch materials identify Scott and Deeanne Persson as developing the menu. Business Wire identifies Deeanne as President and company contact, while contemporary sources describe Benny Doro and Robin Cremeens as participating in development of the concept.

Evidence boundary: terms such as “partner,” “President,” and “Owner/Chef” are preserved as contemporary public representations. No recovered capitalization, corporate, or ownership agreement establishes legal percentages or formal governance authority.

The Truck · original visual evidence

A fully branded mobile kitchen, not a concept rendering.

The surviving archive shows a completed professional wrap, illuminated service areas, kitchen equipment, point-of-sale hardware, staff, food preparation, and customer service.

A visible Food Cart USA mark supports a custom-build or customization connection. The shared 7782 San Fernando Road address supports a likely La Raza Foods supplier or commissary relationship. Neither relationship is described as contractually proven because the invoice, title, lease, and service agreement have not been recovered.

Business Outcome · evidence separated

The opportunity was real. The ending remains only partly documented.

Verified: InFusion launched, operated publicly, attracted contemporary coverage, served documented events and locations, and remained visible in dated operating photographs through March 2, 2013. An active menu was captured in April.

Firsthand account: Benny recalls that later operational instability increased the direct management burden. In his assessment, the level of hands-on operating attention required ultimately made the venture unattractive relative to the group’s other business opportunities.

Archival conclusion: the concept and market traction were real. The surviving evidence documents a professionally launched operating venture; Benny’s explanation for the decision not to continue remains clearly attributed firsthand testimony.

The homepage was parked by June 2013. That digital fact does not establish the legal closure date, final service, disposition of the truck, or dissolution of an operating entity.
