The Next Level Music Poll for this week:
In some cases, the early fans of a particular band
develop a strong sense of "ownership" and pride with
a group that is struggling to make its mark on the
music world. The perceived relationship between the
fans and the group seems much more personal and emotional
than that of fans who "jump on the bandwagon" once the
group has become much more popular.
This week's question is,
"Has a band 'sold out' its original fans if it manages
to record a CD that attracts new, and much more varied,
listeners?"
Results will be posted next week!
Last week's Question: "If your favorite musician came out of the closet would it affect your interest in their music?"
Your Answers:
- 30% - YES
- 70% - NO
